TX TOWER REMOVAL PROCESS
Mirvac, in partnership with international heavy lifting experts Marr Contracting and specialist dismantle contractor Kordia, has completed the dismantling one of Sydney’s most recognisable landmarks – the 233m TX transmission tower prominently located in Willoughby on Sydney’s North Shore.
Following the departure of Channel Nine to its new home in North Sydney, the tower has now been decommissioned and its removal will make way for a vibrant new residential community which Mirvac is bringing to life on the site. Mirvac assembled a team of internationally recognised engineers and contractors for the complex removal process, which is now complete.
